I was born and raised in Hyogo, Japan. I worked as a Physiotherapist in Japan for 4 years before I came to Canada in 2007. I worked as a physiotherapy assistant in Toronto and decided to shift my career to a Registered Massage Therapist. I studied at Durham College for a 3-year Massage Therapy program and graduated as the highest-ranking student. After I obtained my license, I worked in various clinics in the Durham region and decided to open my own.
